Grand Opening of the Fung Loy Kok Temple and Quiet Cultivation Centre

Saturday September 8, 2007: Following the Awareness Day demonstration and parade in downtown Toronto in the morning, more than 2,800 people attended the historic Grand Opening of the Fung Loy Kok Temple, part of the Quiet Cultivation Centre, at the International Taoist Tai Chi Centre.

On the Thursday and Friday prior to the Grand Opening, a temple enlivening ceremony was conducted, followed by more chanting and ceremonies which included special guest participants from Hong Kong.
